Public Projects

The West Contra Costa Unified School District (“District”) is requesting proposals from qualified persons, firms, partnerships corporations, associations or professional organizations (“Firm(s)”), for master planning services (“Proposal(s)”) related to the planning and construction of additions to existing school sites and modernization/reconstruction/renovation of existing schools, District facilities and new school construction for the next ten (10) years.

The project consists of the exterior painting of building A, B, C, D, E, Kindergarten, Library, MPR building, portables, and Child Care. Exterior painting of all fences, gates, benches, bike racks, door frames, doors inside and outside, windows, roof vents, HVAC enclosure covers, and portables railing.

The project consists of the removal, regrading, and replacement of existing asphalt. It includes the demolition and re-striping of selective markings, the selective demolition of playground structures, and the selective removal and replacement of concrete perimeter structures.

This Plan Room is designated for informational purposes only. The District will, as appropriate, provide a list of prequalified general contractors and subcontractors specializing in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services. Prequalified contractors will be eligible to bid on the District’s projects that are within a contractor’s bonding and financial capacity.

The project consists of MPR front soffit and fascia repairs and outside walkways ceiling repairs.

The project consists of furnishing and installation of technology equipment and accessories to provide complete functional system.

The West Contra Costa Unified School District (“District”) is requesting submission of a statement of qualifications (“SOQ(s)”), and proposals for the District’s Kennedy High School Modernization Project, Richmond High School Modernization Project, and Stege Elementary School Modernization Project.

The selected Firm shall perform design (preparation of plans and specifications), construction, installation, programming, field testing and commissioning services (“Services”) for the replacement of the Stege Elementary School campus at the Stege Elementary School site (“Site”). The selected Firm shall perform the Services within the Project Schedule and Project Budget, all as further detailed in Attachment 1, and based on the District’s Educational Specifications and Designated Materials and Product Standards attached hereto as Attachment 2 (together, the “Project Criteria”). This is the “Project.”
