Public Projects

The project involves the demolition of the existing synthetic turf field and track surfacing, D-zone surfacing, including the underlying base material, sand pits, and pole vault box. New construction includes the installation of new synthetic turf for the field and the installation of all-weather track surfacing over the existing asphalt base. New all-weather track surfacing will also be laid down in the eastern D-zone on a new asphalt base, and install new long/triple jump sand pits, pole vault box, and discus cage.

The project consists of demolition and installation of chain-link fencing and gates, including all accessories.

The Contract consists of but is not limited to: The purchase, delivery, and installation of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment which conform to the District’s design criteria and furniture specifications.

The Project consists of modernizing the central kitchen, including the replacement of existing kitchen equipment, as well as the installation of new walk-in freezers and refrigerators. The scope also includes the modifications to existing utilities and finishes as needed to connect replacement equipment.

The West Contra Costa Unified School District (“District”) is requesting proposals from qualified persons, firms, partnerships corporations, associations or professional organizations (“Firm(s)”), for master planning services (“Proposal(s)”) related to the planning and construction of additions to existing school sites and modernization/reconstruction/renovation of existing schools, District facilities and new school construction for the next ten (10) years.

The project consists of the exterior painting of building A, B, C, D, E, Kindergarten, Library, MPR building, portables, and Child Care. Exterior painting of all fences, gates, benches, bike racks, door frames, doors inside and outside, windows, roof vents, HVAC enclosure covers, and portables railing.

The project consists of the removal, regrading, and replacement of existing asphalt. It includes the demolition and re-striping of selective markings, the selective demolition of playground structures, and the selective removal and replacement of concrete perimeter structures.

This Plan Room is designated for informational purposes only. The District will, as appropriate, provide a list of prequalified general contractors and subcontractors specializing in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services. Prequalified contractors will be eligible to bid on the District’s projects that are within a contractor’s bonding and financial capacity.
